After only putting out the unpolished “86” single since dropping Cadillactica last year, Big K.R.I.T. has entered the ring for 2015. Today, K.R.I.T. revealed the cover art for his new mixtape It’s Better Over Here via Facebook profile picture change, confirming the release shortly after with a link to the mixtape itself. The DJ Drama-hosted tape is available exclusively on DatPiff.

Considering how closely the cover of It’s Better Over Here matches the duality-based artwork of 4eva N a Day, the concept of the mixtape is likely typical K.R.I.T. fare, with the project’s tracks revolving around the themes of K.R.I.T.’s internal struggles between virtue and vice. Similar to that of his debut album, Live From The Underground, he walks the fine line between staying true to himself and celebrating his success in the hip hop industry.

Except for three tracks, all of the beats are produced by K.R.I.T. himself. The mixtape includes features such as LudacrisBJ the Chicago Kid, and others, most notably West Coast legend Warren G. Download It’s Better Over Here via Datpiff.
