For the first time ever, rappers, award winners, and activists Common & Talib Kweli will break the shores in major cities on an Australian headlining tour. From Adelaide, all the way to Brisbane, the hip-hop legends’ll be spending their first weekend of May around coastal cities after impressing Australian fans at Soulfest 2014.
Just Announced: Sydney, Australia – May 9 at Enmore Theatre https://t.co/hH4KbSBHHb

From being invited to the Whitehouse to working with the late Maya Angelou, the Chicago-based rapper lives and breathes soul. Talib Kweli is no different as he continues to push conscientious and politically charged music, recently releasing Fuck The Money and INDIE 500.

If there’s any indication from their past works, the ex-Soulquarians are going to fill their shows with nothing less than truth, honesty, and love for the culture of hip-hop. These headlines also came out of nowhere so if there’s any speculation whatsoever, expect to see more musical works from them in the near future.
