Back after his last release of “The World Is My Ashtray,” Freddie Gibbs just dropped a new track titled “Fuckin’ Up The Count.” Along with the track came the announcement of his upcoming project, Shadow of a Doubt, set to drop November 20th.

The song details the daily grind and struggles of what a drug dealer may go through, something Gibbs is all too familiar with. He recognizes that this is a way to make quick money, but he isn’t blind to the consequences he might have to face, or the ones he has already dealt with.

Quarter brick, half a brick, whole brick, ay nigga / Momma kick me out the house for servin’ where she stay nigga / Nickel dimed and broke after I buy my brand new J’s, nigga

Gibb’s flow sheds a light of confidence on himself in the personal track, “Gangsta shit in my DNA, I just can’t explain that,” furthermore showing that he recognizes himself as a real one. Gibb’s signature raspy tone is all over the track, similar to that of Jeezy’s.

Shadow of a Doubt is available for pre-order on iTunes, and you can listen and watch the video for “Fuckin’ Up The Count” below.
