Looks can be deceiving. On a daily basis, our inbox is filled with struggle rappers from across the world and it’s just an unfortunate fact of life that many submissions are judged by their covers. Despite the disappointing artwork, JPax Akrasia has a nice flow over SKMP production where Dillon Lane then leads into a nice wide kick drum.
Behind the scenes, the two artists also act together on the History Channel show “Texas Rising” and according to Jpax, birth name James Paxton, the two recorded the song last summer while filming an independent movie in Oregon. Paxton has also released music under the name Ayyuh-J as a duo with producer Red Beard. Their first video is a much more thoughtfully lyrical and laid-back affair than the other release, but both are worth checking out. Already armed with a co-sign from Murs, it’s obvious that there’s more to come from Paxton. We’ll be keeping an eye on these artists, so for more developments stay up-to-date with TrueToo.
