Coming off his latest single, “Friends,” Raury is back with another hot track, “Forbidden Knowledge.” The Atlanta-based artist partners up with Big K.R.I.T. for this one, forming a dynamic southern duo. This is the third available single off Raury’s upcoming debut album, All We Need.

At first they want to keep us separate but equal // But it’s not so we fight against the hatred and evil // Now they let us think we got it and they killin’ our people // Why does history repeat like a sequel? // Well that’s forbidden knowledge

Raury is known for touching on deeper subjects that affect society, and this song is no different. He reaches deep into life and asks questions a lot of us would like to know the answer to, but are unable to; hence, forbidden knowledge. One thing that really sticks out in this track is that Raury reminds us that he can spit bars. It’s been a minute since he has showcased a lot of his rap skills.

Raury is all about promoting a bigger movement, and he believes one will happen soon with himself and the “indigos,” people with the same vision as himself. Big K.R.I.T. then jumps on the track for the pleasure of the closing verse. Although Raury and K.R.I.T. have two different rapping styles they fit nicely on the track together.

All We Need is set to drop on October 16th (iTunes preorder here). Make sure to order your copy of the album and listen to “Forbidden Knowledge” below.
