2015 has been a great year thus far for Lupe Fiasco. Tetsuo & Youth was one of the best albums of the year, and he is fresh from dropping his latest revitalized mixtape “Pharaoh Height 2/30.” Who knows if Lupe has been steady in the booth working on new material or is in possession of a truckload full of throwaway gems.
There is something we all know for certain though, and that is the fact that Lupe doesn’t shy away from Twitter mayhem. He was recently involved in an twitter altercation between Complex writer Angel Diaz over this article (in the article Angel took shots at Lupe & Talib Kweli). The argument prompted one of the Complex bosses, Noah Callahan-Bever, to step in and defend his writer.
Lupe is at it again. It seems like he cant stay away from Twitter controversy but this time for a better reason. Just a few hours ago on Twitter Lupe hinted at a follow up to his classic 2007 album The Cool. It started with a response to a fans question regarding Mike Young History (main character in The Cool). That tweet was followed with this one.

Fiasco must of decided to leave us in suspense and stop with the previews. Lupe also responded to a fans question on Instagram with some insight on his upcoming projects. I guess now the wait begins. The Cool 2 is on the way.
I’m writing Skulls and Cool 2 at the same…Cool 2 feels really special… scary good…Skulls is better than T&Y and I think Cool 2 will be better than both…we’ll see…”
