nobigdyl. and Aaron Cole drop “Poster”

Slap the hate off the backboard

2017 has been good to us in terms of summer jams, and rappers nobigdyl. and Aaron Cole continue that trend today with their latest in “Poster.”

First off, that’s some top notch artwork for this track. Simple and poppin’. Second, the beat is uplifting and smooth with the keys. It’s feel good music to a T. Credit to Derek Minor and Juice Bangers for the dope production there. “Poster” is all about getting behind yourself and believing in your path ahead. People throwing hate your way? Put em’ on a poster. NBA fans are familiar with that term, but if you’re not, this tweet from Dyl will help:

DAMN. Shout out to Scottie Pippen one time. Cole and Dyl let you know not to let your fears get in the way of what may lie ahead and to trust in God’s plan. Dyl stays with the nice pop culture references as usual, this time shouting out Rocket Power, an OG Nickelodeon show that deserves its respects. Cole comes hard with the bars as well, rapping “It’s for the gold, for the belt / Michael Phelps, Michael Phelps.”

“Poster” is definitely one of the best tracks out recently and may have just snuck in towards the end for one of the best songs of the summer. nobigdyl. and Aaron Cole are simply a great combo worth noting. Take a listen to “Poster” below and let us know what you think. Remember, keep swatting the hate away. If you want to know more about Dyl, be sure to read our interview with him right here.
