New York’s own Flatbush ZOMBiES dropped their new track, “Blacktivist,” last night and Zombie fans have been all over it. Along with the single came a very trippy, and highly controversial video. Flatbush Zombies are known for making bold and controversial statements in their music, in interviews, as well as on their social media accounts so a video this controversial from them comes to no surprise. The director of the music video even held an AMA on reddit, which aroused significant amounts of  criticism.

Flatbush Zombies are a group of three talented emcees out of New York who really just don’t seem to give a fuck about anyone’s feelings and are complacent with it. After dropping their highly successful project BetterOffDead back on September 11 in 2013, it’s been nothing but good times for this trio of rappers. It wasn’t until a couple months ago that they began releasing music for a little while through their SoundCloud every Friday through a weekly thing they called, “Day of the Dead.”

Since then, it’s been nothing but touring for these three, until now. “Blacktivist” hopefully signifies one of many singles that they drop before their debut album, which will hopefully be announced soon.

Peep “Blacktivist” below and let us know what you think of the cringe-worthy music video in the comment section below.
